Ed, thank you for taking the fear out of buying my own health insurance. My husband always handled these kinds of matters and now that I'm alone, it falls into my lap and with all the phone calls I received from at least nearly 10 different insurance agents, I didn't know who to trust, that is until you phoned me. Your voice certainly had a calming affect on me and I just had that overall feeling that you really understood what I was going through. Ed, I can't believe that after all of my years in buying health insurance, that I was lucky enough to find you! I dare say that I have never found an insurance agent that really took a personal interest in my family's need for health insurance as you have with mine. My wife and I still chuckle when we think about your telling us that you're just into the insurance to help people with their health insurance needs and not for the money! Ed is terrific - I've never worked with anyone more helpful, pleasant, and patient. Ed was exceptionally helpful in guiding my husband and me through the thought process so that we could personalize the very best health insurance plan for our own particular needs, and then went above and beyond to assist us in securing the necessary documents. We had run into a problem with a treating physician and Ed not only worked with the doctor's staff to be sure the underwriter received what they needed, but kept me updated on the process every step of the way. I would recommend Ed to absolutely everyone looking for an insurance plan - whether individual or group. My company, Bass Financial has a group plan with UniCare and because of this, I had Ed's personal cell phone. I called him at 7:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning and not only was Ed available, but he spent over 2 hours setting me up with my health insurance plan and answering all my questions.

When I finished being a full time student last August I found the need for individual insurance. Previously I had always had insurance through my employer then through school as a full time student. I now needed short term health insurance until I found a job and could be included in a group plan again.
I received an email about insurance and responded that I would like additional information. Ed responded quickly to my inquiry and offered his assistance immediately. I was under a time constraint and needed insurance fairly quickly as I did not want to be uninsured. Ed recommended several policies that would fit my situation and also sent me information with links to the websites so I could review the plans further. Once I decided and submitted the application, Ed followed up with the company to ensure it was processed and I did not have a lapse of coverage. Also, after I did the online application, Ed noticed I made an error on application that could have made me have a lapse of coverage. Ed acted quickly and notified me and then followed up with the insurance company to correct the error so I would not have any issues.
Ed has been so helpful with my insurance needs. He is very knowledgeable and was able to make recommendations based on my current situation. I would refer my family and friends to Ed as I know he would provide the same level of service.

I am so grateful for all the help you've given me regarding my UniCare health insurance plan, in particular the HSA compatible plan. Being newly retired and looking for an individual health insurance plan for myself was much more educational than I expected. Not knowing enough about health insurance, you spent a great deal of time helping me to select the right insurance policy that would fit my needs best, by asking questions about what I wanted from a health insurance plan.

I just wanted to thank you for all the help in setting up our Final Expense Whole Life Insurance policies through UniCare for my husband and myself. We never had any experience in setting up something so important in our lives.

Hi Ed,
I just submitted the application for the Curb Jumper 3000 with UniCare and let me tell you that I really enjoyed the casual way in which it was written, not mentioning the different styles of I.D. cards for me to choose from...WOW! Definitely it was much more pleasant than filing out my previous health insurance application a month ago with the other health insurance company.
I called my previous health health insurance company to cancel my previous health insurance plan that I had through them and I scheduled to start the "Curb Jumper 3000" for the 30th of this month. Once again, thank you for your help!
